Responsibilities
Perform routine cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Carry out custodial duties including trash removal, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces to promote hygiene.
Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure the upkeep of the building.
Respond promptly to cleaning requests and maintain an organized supply inventory.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain equipment in good working condition.
Qualifications
Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment operation (e.g., buffers, vacuums) is advantageous.
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent time management skills and a proactive approach to completing tasks efficiently.
